Well, since winter decided to take over most of the spring season in NY this year, and it's been really nice out lately, I've decided to end my hibernation streak. I mean, it has been really nice, it's just that I'm lazy and I was getting too used to being afraid to step out into the cold :P Well, this is a typical spring outfit that I'd totally rock in RL to school or just out shopping or whatever (maybe with flats though, I'm a wimp when it comes to heels in the daytime!) But always with coffee or tea in my hand!

Also, it happens to be May 22 and I didn't die and go to hell, oh well, next time haha. At least I get to celebrate my best friend's birthday this week!

My best friend (who is turning 23 tomorrow...his 23rd on the 23rd lol) introduced me to this amazing artist, Dessa. She started out with spoken word poetry and then joined the Doomtree Hip Hop Collective, which is based in Minnesota. Seriously, they have some good people who have songs that are so relevant. This song isn't really hip hop, as Dessa really kinda fuses different musical genres together, but this is a gorgeous a capella song that is incredibly simple, yet speaks volumes. I've been really feeling jumpsuits lately, so I thought I'd share two of my favorites at the moment. They are so fierce and fun, they can be dressed up or worn casually for a bit of a wild flair to your ensemble. The jumpsuits featured are from Wasted Youth and Cashmere.


If you want a really bold outfit in one piece, check out the really awesome Zebra Jumpsuit from (Wasted Youth). It's really fun and and has a lot of give in the bodice, so it's an easy-breezy piece for any day use.

The Dojo Suit from CASHMERE is totally luxurious and comes in several colors, very rich in hue and adorned with a gold spike accent for the shoulder. This jumpsuit could definitely be dressed up with some heels or wedges for a club outfit, but I really dig comfort so I opted for flats!

I've been told that I'm a dreamer. Basically, I'm just a big kid, always hoping, always dreaming, always in my own little world. Hmm, that kinda makes me sound a little crazy. The child within me will keep me reaching for the stars, and that's alright with me.

I've also been dreaming of an entirely FREE outfit, head to toe, no money spent AT ALL...and it happened. And it's not just a freebie outfit, it's a *cute* freebie look that was put together with a mix of things. Hooray for not spending a dime! It's the day after Christmas. Which means sales sales sales in both RL and SL. Which means I'm going to be out of my mind for the next few days. *Faints*.

I've been fumbling around through my inventory today, and decided to wear this free bow from Magika. With the long blonde Lelutka hair, it almost reminded  me of Alice in Wonderland. So, I put together a look that is my version of a sophisticated Alice.



It all started with the dainty bow, it instanty adds the cute factor to any outfit. For the polished lady look, I wore a houndstooth printed dress from *salire, a store that I recently discovered, where they have several cute and girly group gifts, and even more cute and girly clothes at very low cost! The neck bow and accessories are from Atelier AM, which are classic and lady-like, perfect touches to the outfit. The clutch is part of the Project Themeory outfit from Milk Motion, so hurry up and pick it up before it's gone! And these darling periwinkle shoes are a gift from Magoa, part of the Happy Holidays Hunt.

I would go chasing little white rabbits but I've got a tea party to go to or something. I'm thinking breakfast at Tiffany's.

Hi everyone and welcome to Tres Jolie! This is my blog showcasing looks and items that I absolutely adore in Second Life. I am a shopping addict, it is a sickness. I especially love finding great quality items at low cost, because to be frank, I am a poor university student and don't have the time for a full time SL job and am limited in the lindens I can buy. So, this blog will specialize in chic looks for less! I am not paid for any of the items blogged, it's all stuff that I've purchased myself and have used my imagination to come up with these looks. 001. Can't Buy Me Love

It seems that since the holidays are coming up, there are a butt-load (yes, I said butt-load) of hunts out there. Which, makes me a little warm inside at how awesome these designers and hunt coordinators are for being so generous. I'm not quite done with all the hunts yet, but I've racked up quite a lot of items. Some of the hunts I'll cover in the next series of posts are: For the Love Of.., With Love From..., Happy Holidays, & A Very Depraved Christmas. Also, are some store gifts, group gifts, and whatever else is in my closet, cheap or not.

So, while sorting through my new hunt items, I came across this Rockberry skin, Uma, which came in 5 shades (the skin wasn't the only item in the prize, there was also a lingerie set included). The lipstick is so rich and luscious and very fall/winter-like, so I created a look using rich colors to compliment it!


Other hunt gifts included were from Peqe and ++AY.Line++, with freebie stockings from Wave

The top is actually part of a dress from Peqe that is just so festive, I felt a little bubbly inside, and paired with the shorts from Milk Motion for TDR Blue and argyle Wave stockings, this look is definitely fun and holiday appropriate.
