So I've been sort of seeing an old friend of mine in RL (he's actually one of my best friends, and we have a...ummm...romantic history). Sighs, our dates have been ending with kisses, so despite all the other chaos I've been dealing with (hence, my absence in SL for the past two weeks), he's been keeping me somewhat sane. Too bad he lives one state above me haha. Anyway, since this friend and I always have a ton of silly fun together, I decided to create a look that reminds me of going out for a light-hearted, fun-filled night out.

For instance, I am focused on Croire, by Emily Kaestner...the pose is called Sass, and my clutch (worn with the chain as a shoulder bag and comes in another shade of pink) is a Valentine's Day themed piece that every girl should pick up (not just for Valentine's Day, but it's certainly a cute, fun accessory for any occasion!).

If you didn't already know, in Central Park there is a section dedicated the late, great John Lennon, perfectly called Strawberry Fields. I've never been there, but I will when I decide to come out of hibernation (when I found out it was 7 degrees out one morning, I went back up to my room and jumped under the covers). Since I hate the cold and want to stay inside as much as possible, I decided to go to Strawberry Fields in Second Life.
Since Strawberry Fields is fairly close to Lincoln Center, I booked some tickets to a show and, of course, I need to dress for the occassion. Wasted Youth has a *fabulous* sale section (fabulous finds for $50-75L!) and I found this gorgeous pink corset dress and lace cage skirt, and decided to build around them. Using items from Awram-Viie, loveme., tram, chuculet, and Whippet & Buck, I pulled together a wonderful "poor little rich girl" look, almost Blair Waldorf-like, with a touch of edge from the leopard print tights.
Living is easy with eyes closed, Misunderstanding all you see. It's getting hard to be someone, but it all works out. It doesn't matter much to me.

When I got home, I modified my outfit, switching my hairstyle, shoes, putting on the full corset dress, and changing shrugs. I went out dancing with some friends, got home at 4 in the morning. Ohhhh yeah.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, so I'm taking a stroll. But damn it I'm going to be fabulous while doing so.
Sales and gifts and hunts...oh my! My head is about to explode in merchandise, I don't know what to do with myself. But, I am loving the new Cashmere top, Milk Motion pants for Fifty Linden Fridays, Morantique earrings on sale and FREE G-Field shoes and je suis necklace. Life is good. 'Tis a fine day indeed!
