I just released the Audrey Dress in 6 colors at the main store! Audrey is a long sleeved mini dress with a subtle hint of sexy. All 6 colors are very fall/winter appropriate, so this would make for a fabulous holiday outfit!

This weekend's theme for Project Themeory is At the Sock Hop! I put together a lightweight cardigan with leather trim and a leather swing skirt for some edge to a 50's silhouette. Event starts at 12:00am SLT November 12 til 11:59 pm SLT November 13!

VACKRA Apparel has some new releases at the Vintage Fair, which will be open from today, November 11 from 4pm to December 3. Held by Chic Management, the Vintage Fair is your one-stop shopping experience for all thing vintage or vintage-inspired! Clothing inspired from the 1920's to the 1980's will be sold from over 200 brands!
VACKRA has four brand new items at the fair, in three colors each: Petra Dress, Velma Dress, Nanette Jacket, and Claire Trousers. The clothes and store are inspired by typical downtown New York vintage boutiques that I love to shop at! The clothes could be called vintage-inspired, as they are my take on inspirations from the 30's and 40's but with a modern twist!
Nanette is a delicate jacket with a mandarin-type collar and contrasting button-bows, for a sweet, feminine touch, while Claire is a pair of cigarette pants with sexy leather waistband, side panels, and cuffs.
Petra is a sexy yet sweet 30's inspired dress with a sheer top and lace chevrons and bra for some modesty, and cute trumpet skirt.
Velma is a crushed velvet dress that can be worn with shoulder pads for a more 40's look or without the shoulder pads for a relaxed, modern fit that can also be interpreted as late 20's/early 30's inspired (like the film version of Chicago's Velma Kelly!)
I love Bob Marley :D This song also reminds of when my mom listens to his music and starts swaying around the living room and burns incense like a blitzed out hippie.

Well, since winter decided to take over most of the spring season in NY this year, and it's been really nice out lately, I've decided to end my hibernation streak. I mean, it has been really nice, it's just that I'm lazy and I was getting too used to being afraid to step out into the cold :P Well, this is a typical spring outfit that I'd totally rock in RL to school or just out shopping or whatever (maybe with flats though, I'm a wimp when it comes to heels in the daytime!) But always with coffee or tea in my hand!
Also, it happens to be May 22 and I didn't die and go to hell, oh well, next time haha. At least I get to celebrate my best friend's birthday this week!
My best friend (who is turning 23 tomorrow...his 23rd on the 23rd lol) introduced me to this amazing artist, Dessa. She started out with spoken word poetry and then joined the Doomtree Hip Hop Collective, which is based in Minnesota. Seriously, they have some good people who have songs that are so relevant. This song isn't really hip hop, as Dessa really kinda fuses different musical genres together, but this is a gorgeous a capella song that is incredibly simple, yet speaks volumes.
