I'm going on a short getaway this weekend. It's nothing fancy, just taking a train up to see my boy :D

I decided to go for a colorful background, inspired by the Jimmy Choo ad I saw in the March 2011 issue of Vogue. The concept isn't exactly the same, but it's one of my favorite ads in the issue so far. I had worn this outfit a few days ago, and I love it so much, I figured I might as well blog it!

Just flying around with propellers on my head...no big deal.
LaGyo just released a new set of headpieces, hats, and fun jewelry...I saw this helmet as a preview pic of the new releases from Gyorgyna Larnia's flickr, and it was pretty much love at first sight. Normally, I don't go for accessories as wacky as this, but from the moment I saw the photo of Gyorgyna wearing this, I had this exact image in my head. It's just so much fun and adorable and I HAD to have it! Wasted Youth's Feather Skirt was the perfect add for my flight, along with cropped top and boots from Vive9 and completed with tights from Awram-Viie. Also, the skin I'm wearing is one of the new CStar Skins...Fresh, and though the line isn't completely released yet, you can still pick up some basic colors and makeup looks at the store.
I must also mention that Pasarella Modeling Agency is having a show tomorrow, February 19, at 1pm SLT. Designers represented are: Donna Flora, House of Xevion, Finesmith, Guarded Cross, Sys, Vita's Boudoir, Mea Culpa, 3636, and Violator. I've been really feeling jumpsuits lately, so I thought I'd share two of my favorites at the moment. They are so fierce and fun, they can be dressed up or worn casually for a bit of a wild flair to your ensemble. The jumpsuits featured are from Wasted Youth and Cashmere.
If you want a really bold outfit in one piece, check out the really awesome Zebra Jumpsuit from (Wasted Youth). It's really fun and and has a lot of give in the bodice, so it's an easy-breezy piece for any day use.
The Dojo Suit from CASHMERE is totally luxurious and comes in several colors, very rich in hue and adorned with a gold spike accent for the shoulder. This jumpsuit could definitely be dressed up with some heels or wedges for a club outfit, but I really dig comfort so I opted for flats!

I've been feeling festive, with Christmas approaching, so thought I'd do a non-cheesy, wintery, yet festive look.
The city girl has come home, so time to bundle up and get cozy, yet still keep that smart style! It's effortless chic in this Vive9 Poncho over layered sweaters from fri.day and Acid & Mala. With my SINdecade gloves and hat from RibboN, I'm all bundled up and ready for the snow. Despite the dainty look, these comfy pants from pesca are quite warm, especially when worn with my awesome ready-for-some-snow-stomping boots from Orion. To add a little interest (and to hide my tummy after eating all the holiday food in the world), I've thrown on a cute waist belt from Glam Affair. And what day is complete without a handbag?
